Blue Woods Research, LLC is a mission-driven consultancy working to grow the seeds of democracy at the intersection of racial, environmental, climate, and housing justice. Among other projects, we provide scholarly support to reparations task forces across the United States building policy momentum at state and local levels. Blue Woods was founded by Mia Charlene White, B.A., M.I.A., PhD, an interdisciplinary public scholar interested in collaborating with diverse inter- and transdisciplinary teams, with a goal of translating complex urban planning, environmental justice, and climate justice issues to the public. At its core, Blue Woods Research is focused on fostering the narrative links between public land, public goods, public memory, and public repair.
